I want to know what else keeps the game exciting the first few rounds besides the sino-japanese war.
Like what kind of options do the allies have to interfere with Japanese expansion early in the game?
3-3 with 2 hits cost 16
Germany: Graf Spee
Japan: Mogami
UK: Exeter
USA: Alaska class?
?
?
What would be there role in the game?
just a cheap battleship?
exactly, but they have some special thing…move 3 or who knows.
I prefer move 3, but the cost changes as well. Cruisers were long range ships

sounds good
CA are:
3-3 with 2 hits cost 17, move 3
no ASW
CL ( the stock OOB cruisers) are ASW capable and 3-3, cost 12, move 2
A technology can give these a possible AA gun capability hitting at 1 when they roll. So when they roll if they roll a 1 a plane is shot down…and if 2-3 its just a normal hit allocated to naval target.
For pricing, I think Pocket Battleships and Heavy Cruisers ought to be the same. 17 IPCs if BB are 20, 15 if BB are 18.
I like the idea of AA cruisers. It may help slightly against those pesky Heavy Bombers.
Still, isn’t an AA cruiser tech like the old Combined Bombardment tech that allowed DD to bombard? It makes no sense to my why DD couldn’t bombard to begin with. Likewise, if cruisers can AA, why does it need a tech upgrade? There’s probably some historical/technical aspect I’m not getting.
AA crusiers are a certain type of crusier that was only developed by certain nations so thats why it needs a tech.
I think the AA crusier should mainly effect the light crusier piece since AA crusiers tended to also be light crusiers
yes right. by technology. open to all who invest income to obtain it.
cool
Heavy cruiser
Cost 13
Attack and defend at 3 or less.
Move 3
2 hit.
attack at 2 for the shore bombarment
Light cruiser =
same as cruiser but 1 hit and move = 2
Cost 11
