Which version was the game created with? Should be in the test post at the start of the game (everyone does the test post right?)

Subs seem to be having problems all round at the moment…I had a game where all their stealth capabilities were turned off…very annoying!

@axis-dominion but to be fair to the system…just loaded up a test game just now and the sub stealth was turned on and there was no hanging with a naval battle calc including subs…:shrug:

How about if there was an offensive sub? Try that and see. And if hanging doesn’t happen, try including no TV an offensive and a defensive one.

Weird, I’ve been on 2.2.20868 for at least a month, I have attacked with subs and not had any hangs.
In the upper corner of of my TripleA start dialog I see Java version 11.0.6 - what number are you guys seeing there?

Is there a link to a file I could test - the link above downloads the rebuilt 1.9 file.

i just checked and i have java 11.0.6 on my Windows TripleA 2.2.20868 and am still getting the issue.
please go to link https://www.axisandallies.org/forums/topic/35823/axis-dominion-vs-ksmckay-allies-18-bm3/75?page=2 and scroll down to find and load up the italian turn 3. then attempt a battle calc on sz 44 (celebes) with a sub, dd, and cruiser as anzac offfense, and those japanese ships in that sz. it should hang!

I just tested the Italians attacking the French fleet both as a local and as a forum game and couldn’t reproduce the bug. Sorry - at this point I’d guess all of this should just be reported to the TripleA folks. Not to pass the buck but you should probably do it as you are able to reproduce the bug and that’s the first thing they’ll probably ask for.

no not the italian fleet, plz try the one i told you in celebes, with anz fleet attacking just as i described. that would reproduce it.

@LennardF no, I can’t seem to get it to go in our game , but I started ours a day before the other one with the same version as the one that hangs.

@axis-dominion No Problem! It looks like it’s anytime a sub is attacking air with no defending DD present. I tried different combos and that was the combo that would hang.
But this doesn’t happen in my other game started the day before. That makes no sense. I’ll scour the files/engine and see if there’s something in the settings.
