@djensen The friend system seems broken. When I search for anybody by name + number is says there is an error. Then I get a notification bell saying I have a friend request from djensen but when I go to the screen to respond to it, it says I have 0 pending requests.

You’re clicking on the Friend icon in game right? Not the Steam friend system, right?

@djensen yes, this is all through A&AO, not doing anything directly in Steam.

After restarting the game I was able to see the pending friend request. I have an issue in general where if the game is running ‘too long’ it will crash when I attempt to look at my profile. I assume my issues with friend searches/requests are probably related. I haven’t tried to narrow it down and figure out exactly how long I need to leave the game running before I have a problem, but it wouldn’t surprise me if their hourly recalculation of players’ stats was somehow related.

Sorry for any confusion. ‘Eggman’ is one of the most popular user names and almost never available. I switched to the double Q variant a long time ago as it’s usually open. Goo Goo G’Joob!
