    I purchased 1 des and 2 ac in order to put them with the italian fleet in sz97.

    Now I made battles and failed to consider landing afterwards. Did a few unnecessary over-kill air-strikes. Seems I can’t land with anything as I had previously planned.

  • I have one solution that I could try, if it’s ok?

    I haven’t looked specifically at battle dice, but sz125 and Finland was rather over-kill. The Finland attack also has a point of leaving air for protection of the Baltic fleet.

    a) May I change the purchase by reducing 1 inf and exchanging the sub for a des?

    b) May I reduce the attacks in sz125 and Finland to include only 1 fig, 1 tac and 2 fig, 1 tac respectively?

    The way I think is fair to handle b is then to roll dice for probability of which dice that stick. Let me check exactly what it would look like.


  • The dice for G in sz125 was 2/3 fig, 1/2 tac. In Finland it was 1/2 fig, 2/2 tac.

    That means that Finland won’t have to be rolled, but sz125 is not certain. 1D3 is rolled for the figs, where a score is 1-2 and miss on 3, and likewise 1D2 is rolled for the tacs, where a score is 1 and a miss 2.

    If the air misses in sz125 the battle continues and I’ll roll ordinary dice manually. If G doesn’t score but UK does, then the tac falls into the sea and the fig returns back home to W Ger.


  • If I’d been able to plan it, that’s how the battles would’ve looked like keeping in mind air reserved for sz97.


  • I think the solution is fair. The dice change is not dependent on the change of purchase. I’ll go ahead and roll and finish this turn, and then if you object to either a or b or both, we can look at some other solution.


  • Actually, it’s a little different. I’ll redo. Nothing about the dice, but I see that the sz125 air may land in sz115. Then a rational battle in Finland is actually 1 fig, 1 tac along with the 2 inf. Lets see what that makes.
