  • yah 50% hit rate there, but it’s not even just rostov. it’s pervasive, look at w.ukr for ex. it’s unbelievable, you haven’t even missed once there. it all adds up too much.

  • Japan has been getting really high hit rates too, and look at all my misses in hawaii. not even a single unit. or midway. that’s a lot of units lost for nothing.


  • I’m the most prolific player out there almost every year, and with all my games, I rarely get a result this lopsided. might be the worst to date even. no big battles mind you, just lots of little ones adding up to be too much.

  • even from the outset, when I couldn’t even kill your sub in 109, or my two subs failed against your cruiser at Guam. that set the tone for this game… I knew that wasn’t a good sign.

    yep, that was a fluky start. As you said nothing major but its all adding up. extra losses and lost income and in a game this close it makes a difference for sure.


  • I’m just gonna play as fast as possible to get this one over with lol. and I’m going to make reckless/bold decisions/moves cuz at this point I really feel cheated by the dice. credit to you, you’ve played fairly solidly, with a few mistakes here and there. but I’m confident if the dice were more fair, this match would be a lot closer.

    sorry but I don’t believe it, you are NOT an inexperienced player. there’s no way. I mean yah somewhat new to bm I get that, but not to A&A and global.

    i didnt say with AA, but games past this point yes. I think usually games are done by this point for me. I played a ton of anniversary back in the day and then quite a bit of global at the beginning but game has evolved quite a bit since then and none of the games I have played since I have been back have gone anywhere close to this far except for one which I lost because I got impatient. Just dont know how to judge the situation at this point as the axis.


  • if dice were a bit more fair, I’d have been able to hold rostov even longer, and possibly indefinitely, or at least long enough for the allies to start to do damage from the Atlantic (now that I have your navy pushed back). but the losses have been too overwhelming.

  • for me tho, 12 rounds is actually pretty short. but then, I guess it depends on who your opponents are. if you’re playing easier opponents (which looks like you have been), then yah 12 rounds may seem very long.

    I will do my best not to deprive you of an opportunity for revenge.

    But yeah, the last couple rounds probably easily cost you a dozen inf or more, with which you would have been able to hold Rostov longer. Which is one of the things that I just dont know about. Can axis win if Germany never breaks thru Rostov combined with no Egypt? Im doing ok in Pac but Pac theater can turn super quick I think and I dont think i have another VC in the near future. But that looks to be a question for another game since I have finally pushed Russia back.
