I am looking to compile a complete list of all of the expansions for Axis & Allies from back in the days when it was owned by Milton Bradley (1983-1998ish). I am also looking to compile separate lists lists for later expansions and for “games” that were A&A expansions in all but name.
Here is the list I have, please add to this if you know of more.

I’m sure it would have balance issues for experienced players but was pretty fun for the casual one.

Yes, that’s Xeno Games The World at War. That game also had China and France as playable powers, different costs from one country to another to build the same units, and introduced “1/2 Battleships” (AKA Destroyers / Cruisers). I’m not looking for judgments, just a list of all of the printed expansions that were out there back in the day.

@Midnight_Reaper right on : ) Forgot about the half battleships. Had a lot of fun with it, but took a couple decades off after that, so I don’t know of any others.
It’s cool. I think I’ve run all but the most un-heard of expansions and expansion games to ground, just asking if somebody knows of A&A expansions that I’ve never heard of and couldn’t find when I was doing my research.

I don’t mind adding it to my list, but it seems to me that this is more of a game than an A&A expansion. The link you posted said it was a stand-alone game and I’m inclined to agree.
Part of me things I should make one list with everything, but I’m afraid that might confuse the heck out of some new person wandering in and not understanding what we’re talking about…

You are right. This is a stand-alone game. On my old site I called both real expansions and stand-alone games ‘commercial expansions’. Having said that: the distinction is a hard one…
Regarding Bells of War: this game was around the time Avalon Hill was bought by Hasbro. So maybe it should be in your other list.
Having said that: as you notices it is not an expansion in the literal sense. Then again: nobody plays this with the counters coming with this game and the rules are VERY A&A-like…
Imp Games’ East & West technically came out in 2001, but is closer mechanically to MB A&A, than it is to the A&A:Europe or A&A:Pacific games that came out around the same time (or anything since.) AFAICT the map specifically is derivative of Xeno Game’s World at War.

I have East & West over on another page: A List of “Games” that are Axis & Allies Expansions in Disguise (at the top of the list, actually). While I don’t argue that the decisions what belongs where are absolute, I do see a distinction between expansions that can’t be played without the base game and stand-alone games that can be used as either their own game or as an expansion to another game.
I hope all of that makes sense.

@Midnight_Reaper There was a group of pieces made by pewtercraft each had their rules with them for use with axis and allies from that time period of MB. not sure if the rules can be found anymore and pewtercraft has been done for a while. The ones I currently have.

Heavy artillery
Anti tank guns
Mechanized infintry (this is in game now)
Pt Boats
Troop Trains (versions of this are now in game)
AAA/At guns
Scorched earth ruins
Pocket battleships
Some of the ideas are good if they are tweaked a bit.
