Hard to top that.
What’s the best movie you have ever seen in the Theater?
Gladiator
Lawrence of Arabia
it was shown a few years ago at a threater in chicago
I also really like watching No Country for Old Men , but that is just because it is such a great film, the experince is not really enhanced that much by the theater
I am going to have to go with Gladiator as well.
Goldeneye
Inn of the sixth Happiness
Conspiracy
Their will be Blood
The Downfall
What’s the metric? Best movie as in the quality and enjoyment? Or best as in best movie experience in a theater?
Just give us both of your answers.
Ok - for the first thing, I’d say No Country for Old Men. Mainly because it so closely followed the book, and that almost never happens.
The second would be Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon or Help! The former because it was a full crowd in a nice theater, the second because I never really was a fan of the Beatles, but it was different on the big screen and I could finally hear Paul’s bass work.
Oh, and I guess I should mention the midnight showing of Star Wars Phantom Menace. I’ve never seen so huge a crowd so excited about a movie. Good times.
HeyJermofoot. Are you a bass player?

I dallied with it for a little while some years ago. I have a drum set and have casually played (although not in some months due to lack of space) for some years.
