Lol! My plan was to retreat after round 1 in SZ 88 but I got so few hits that I decided to stay for one more round… but then I got so many hits that I destroyed your entire fleet! So now my ships are stuck there and vulnerable to a counter-attack! Thus I will suffer a Midway defeat just like Japan did in the real war 😀
By the way, I am fine with BBs repairing at the start of your turn. Although that isn’t a v3 rule, I don’t like how battleships instantly repair. That kinda nerves them a bit but I would rather decrease their cost than allow them to instantly repair.
@VictoryFirst If you want to, starting next round, we can use PTV prices for navy units - 11 for cruiser, 18 for battleship. Even 6 for transport, if you want… I actually buy quite a few battleships in that version, it also has the marines, which come in quite handy island-hopping in the Pacific.

I love that system. It allows more ships to be built and is also more balanced than the standard costs. However, that game also has a lot more other units so I don’t know how well it work in this game. We could always try both.
