Chat is bugged

I am having a problem with the chat window. When I click on “All chats”, I am unable to scroll. Things look like this for me:
I can click on the player profiles that are on the screen, but I cannot scroll down. It doesn’t show all of my chats.
This is what my conversations look like. It shows a random old portion of the chat (the messages on the screen are not the most recent). I can’t do anything, not even scroll or type. This is true for all of my conversations.
The small chat window works completely fine, only the full one does not work.

Thank you for reporting this. I can reproduce this issue when setting the chat-window to maximum.
This is related to the forum software.@djensen Maybe this has already been resolved with the current version of NodeBB (3.8.3 as of now) ?

@Panther I don’t know. The problem is that the new UI is a new theme and we’re not using it. I’m not sure how well supported the old themes are.
However, if I try to change, everyone might revolt again.

The answer of @djensen implies that the issue could be resolved by switching to a newer forum theme, what might lead to other problems.
In the meantime you can always access every chat by klicking “Continue chat with” from your chat partner’s profile page.
