Game is over with the fall of Moscow, since the Allies have no options left to re-capture Moscow before the end of this round.
We agreed to continue the game for two more rounds, since the US had built up a large attack force in France.

After more than 10 rounds of impressively balanced game, the War finally ends with an overwhelming victory for the Axis.
This game clearly shows that the Global 1943 Expansion is truly one of the most balanced Axis & Allies games available.

Global 1943, No. 7 Game Report: Round Late 1944
This is the only post in the Global 1943 No. 7 Game Report.
Players:
Axis: Dark Knight

In Early 1943 Germany attacked Caucasus - and formed Army Group South during Non-Combat Movement.
A Soviet counter-attack eliminated Army Group South and pushed the Eastern Front further West.
In the Atlantic & European sphere the Allies gradually got a foothold in Europe and cleared the Atlantic from German U-Boat units.
In Asia and the Pacific, Japan attacked Chinese units on a massive scale and reinforced the Navy.
By Late 1943 and Early 1944 the German defense on the Eastern Front began to collapse under the pressure from massive Soviet attacks.
German Army Group Centre was trying to hold the line in Eastern Poland to prevent a total collapse of the Eastern Front.
But with US forces capturing Italy, Balkans and South Eastern Europe, the German situation became severely unstable.
In the Pacific rapid Allied offensive operations captured most islands - and UK forces from India counter-attacked deep into Chinese territories.
In a desperate attempt to reverse the situation, Japan attacked in the Soviet Far East - but stiff Soviet resistance effectively halted the Japanese offensive, bringing an end to further Japanese expansion.

With a combined Allied IPC Level of more than 200 IPC, the War ended with an Allied Economic Victory at the end of Late 1944.

Concerning the planning of Global 1943 Strategy - and how to win the Global 1943 game, players should take the following into account:
Remember:
Whether you win or lose the game does not depend on how well you know the rules.
It is simply a matter of how well you can “read” the game as the game progresses - and react accordingly to the situation as the game progresses.
Our experience shows that even a new player can defeat an experienced player - simply by reacting correctly to the situation during the game.
You must be able to know when to purchase Paratrooper units - and when to mass produce Infantry, Panzer, Air units etc.
The best advice we can give is to carefully study the multiple Game Reports on this thread - and use those Game Reports as inspiration for your strategy.

The Reich reinforces there Atlantic Wall and the Kriegsmarine launches another Wolfpack of Uboats.
The Wehrmacht Attacks Archangel, Belarus and The Fallschirmjäger make a Daring Attack on Smolensk.
Denmark is also Attacked.
A Wolfpack Attaks a British DD in 104 SZ
Despite Massive Air Support, the Attack in Archangel Fails as well as the Surprise Strike against Smolensk.
The Bloody Battlefield of Belarus once again changes hands to German Control. The Denmark Attack Succeeds.
The Uboat Attack in 104 SZ Successfully Sinks the British DD.
Reinforcements are Placed to All Combat Areas.

Early 1944
Germany continues to build the Atlantic Wall and reinforces all areas of there military.
They Attack Belarus, W UKR, Denmark and SZ 104.
The Belarus Attack Fails, which will have Major Consequences for Germany.
They place there Units and Finish with 70 PUs
The soviets mass produce Tanks, a Guards Contingent and an Airborne Division.
With the successful Defense of Belarus, the soviets are able to concentrate there two Main Forces on Army Group North, resulting in it’s Destruction.
They also make an Airborne Strike into Austria and Finish with 44 PUs
After the Destruction of Army Group North, the Wehrmacht has had enough of hitler and overthrow him, killing him and his inner circle.
Germany Surrenders
Japan asks for an Armistice, knowing that without there European Allies, Victory is Impossible.
This was our 2nd game and 1st on @Black_Elk s Excellent UHD Map.
We have started our 3rd Game using the UHD Map with Combat Boxes and the Timetable added.

@The-Captain Yea I’m a little worried about another Panzer Army. Soviets can’t build with them. UK has to deal with JPN too

This Game Report was great in detail and exciting to follow.
The multiple options that are available to the players, such as Paratrooper units, show that Deep Operations should be a part of any Strategic Plan.
We’re looking forward to the next game - and even more new Game Reports.

A Wolfpack forms in 106 SZ attacking the Canadian DD and Trprt .
Poor communications by the Kriegsmarine leads to the attack on 111 SZ not being properly supported resulting in the destruction of two Ftrs.
All attacks are successful. Germany activates the Pro Axis Neutrals Finland and Bulgaria. They suffer 2 Blockade damage in 93 SZ and End with 81 PUs.

The soviet union invests in the red army, including a commisar and a Paratrooper. They also purchase 6 LMs.
They reinforce UKR via rail and send the red air force to Novgorod.
1st Corps forms in moscow and they finish with 46 PUs.
J 1
Nippon purchases two Minor Fctrys, as well as an Elite and regular Inf unit.
Japan continues there war of aggression against china, successfully attacking yunnan and hunan.
Two Inf Divisions from Korea are Railed to Kwangsi, where the Army Air Force is located.
The Navy transports troops to china and the Carolines Islands.
They end with 48 PUs.
USA 1
The Americans plant demolition charges at there Air and Naval Bases in the PHI as well as building Fortifications. They also invest heavily in there Navy.
The Pacific is heavily reinforced. Major Air Assets move to Wake. A Inf Div as well as a AA gun are in transport to the PHI currently off of New Guinea.
The Bases in the PHI are destroyed in preparation for an imminent Japanese attack. Fortifications are completed.
Two DDs are placed off the east coast due to the unknown intentions of German U-boats.
They end with 52 PUs.

China recruits for there Army.
They successfully counterattack in yunnan, albeit with the loss of two Inf Divs.
The Flying Tigers land in szechwan and are reinforced by the new recruits. The Burma Road remains open, allowing much needed assistance to continue to arrive.
They End with 18 PUs.
UK 1
Britain plants demolition charges at there Naval Bases in Hong Kong and Singapore.
They also recruit 5 new Inf Divs for there Army, including an Elite Unit.
Two Spitfires are purchased for the Royal Air Force.
The Royal Navy and Air Force launch a Massive Attack against the Regia Marina at there home port in Taranto.
Italian as well as German Ftrs max scramble to defend the Fleet but all they accomplish is making the enemy pay a higher price for there victory.
A DD and Trprt are also sunk off Malta, with no loss to British Forces.
In Africa, Italian Units are destroyed in Ethiopia by a Sea and Land attack, without loss to British Forces.
In Asia, Burma and Sumatra are reinforced, while the Naval bases in Hong Kong and Singapore are destroyed.
Whats left of the Royal Navy in the Atlantic sails to French West Africa and reinforces it with an Inf Div and AA gun. The RAF sends a FTR Wing as well.

Enraged by the attack at Taranto, the remaining Italian Fleet takes vengenace by sinking the remaining British CA.
In addition, they conquer Yugoslavia by Land attack and Greece by Air, Land and Sea.
Alexandria is overwhelmed and Kenya is also Conquered.
They End with 17 PUs.
ANZAC 1
Anzac build a Fortification and a Submarine.
They make no combats but in ncm, they take Java and DNG. They also send a CA to 46 SZ to support the USA Trprt and a Ftr to Malaysia.
In Africa, they send a Inf Div to defend Jordan.
They Fortify Java and End with 19 PUs.
F 1
The Free French Fleet off Toulon attacks the Italians in 97 but there efforts are unrewarded as they are sunk with no Italian losses.

The first Panzer of the Afrika Corps is Air transported to Alexandria.
The 4 Fallschirmjäger Units move to Romania.

The Siberian Army concentrates across from the Manchurian border in Amur.

They launch a successful Paratrooper Attack against syria supported with a Bmbr.
Fearing superior British strength in Egypt, there Alexandria Forces withdraw to Tobruk.
Romania is reinforced by Rail as well as neighboring Yugoslavia Units.

ANZAC builds there Army, Navy and some Fortifications.
Feeling too weak, they forgo vengeance against the sneak attack japanese for the time being.
They reinforce and Fortify Java.
Thanks to there control of New Guinea and British control of Singapore, they finish with 30 PUs and most likely will cause serious issues for JPN.

France remains in a Defensive yet important posture for the Allies.
There CA in the Atlantic joins the British Fleet.
