    It’s the client that messed up, since it doesn’t keep track of landings.

    I looked it over and agree. At the end of turn 13 you clearly had 3 ANZAC fighters on US carriers. The client did mess that up when you moved. However during turn 14 since the client messed up the fighter placement when you moved to sz 33 it should of contained 3 ANZAC fighters. It did not and left two fighters in sz 55 which you moved to India. One of those fighters should of been in sz 33. So before ANZAC goes the correct edit is to remove one ANZAC fighter from India and place it in sz 55. Going forward as of the start of ANZACs turn 15 there are 3 ANZAC fighters on US carriers in sz 55. Lets please try and keep better track of that going forward. Thanks.


  • Definitely. That was unnecessarily messy. Sorry about that. Good that you investigated it.

    We can state that furtheron default placement of ANZAC-figs will be on US-ac unless stated otherwise.

    Best though is to not have to state anything, but make some move-edits during turns (moving out ac’s by edit, landing air on ac’s in the true sz, and then moving the ac’s back) to make the placement of air without question.

    We’ll try and improve on the clarity of moves.

    I think we are all in agreement that at the end of US13 there were 3 ANZAC fighters on US carriers in SZ55. There was also 1 ANZAC fighter and 1 ANZAC tactical on a UK carrier that moved to SZ39 on UK13 and 2 ANZAC fighters on an ANZAC carrier in SZ42.

    On ANZAC 13 the 4 ANZAC planes not on the US carriers either died (tactical) or moved to India or SZ39. The ANZAC carrier moved to SZ55 and the Queensland fighter landed on it. So, there should have been 3 ANZAC fighters on the US carriers and 1 ANZAC fighter on the ANZAC carrier. Apparently, the game shifted one ANZAC fighter to the empty ANZAC carrier slot and this is where the error occurred. I think this occurred because the Allied Player moved ANZAC fighters back and forth before deciding what to do so once the fighter left the SZ and came back via undo the game landed it on the ANZAC carrier instead of the US carrier.

    On US14 the US fleet moved to SZ54, edited to SZ33, taking with it the now 2 ANZAC fighters. On ANZAC14 the two ANZAC fighters in SZ55 flew to India. Only one should have been able to make it while the other one should have been in SZ33. This is where the error was realized yet not discovered.

    On J15 the Japanese had an all air attack on India that would have guaranteed India to Japan if successful. However, with the extra ANZAC fighter there that should not have been there, it was a 56% battle instead of the 70% battle it should have been. I do not think the Axis would have conducted the attack at 70% so no actual benefit was gained by the error.

    Since the Allied forces are now recombining in SZ55 the ANZAC fighter could make it there on a free ride from SZ33 via the US carrier or India on the ANZAC Turn. The difference being that coming from SZ33 it will now be able to participate in the Java attack where it would not have bene able to do that from India.

    Since the Allies gained no actual benefit from the error than it seems reasonable to allow the correction, even though it is now a full Turn later, so they may not be disadvantaged by the error. If the Allies had benefited from the error, I would be against allowing a correction that then instituted another benefit.

    I have no issues with this correction. Please proceed.
