I’m sure you know this, but just in case: triplea allows allied air to land in Siberia/amur etc. while Russia is still not at war with Japan, but this is an obvious bug in the software. so long as Russia and Japan are neutral, Americans can’t land there.

curious how the board looks to you - dont have to answer now if you dont want. My guess is you feel pretty good. I cant really tell if the allies have any chance. Things have looked ok but now that Germany and Italy are free to reign havoc in the middle east my guess is things start to get ugly for the allies. But i just have limited experience with the board in this position, particularly with India completely hosed.

and thanks for the heads up on the 110, and in general you’re good about letting me know where units are when it’s not easy to tell. thanks again for that.
as far as how the position looks, well, allies currently have a substantial income lead so that’s a big plus there. allies also have total control of the med and Atlantic waters, with Italian income subdued, so that’s a big plus again. axis have their own obvious advantages, so it’s kinda hard to really say. but yah, the axis breaking through to the money fields is of course a major objective, and will help their cause from here on.

Perhaps. The alternative thing I was considering was buying like 5 tacs, which is probably what I’d do if you had done that.
