I am playing a casual game of BM3 (3.0) with Canada being a separate faction instead of under British’s domain. I noticed in the game that China does not spawn guerrillas in Japan’s territories not garrisoned by a land unit. The notes differ as to also in that China gets another +3 for their Objective. Is this a compensation or a bug rather?

@axis-dominion In my gaming experiences my brother and I came up with a phrase so to speak. After all the rules are understood and the strategies are thought through you are ultimately going to have to “play the man” (or opponent for the PC world) It definitely is an easier thing to accomplish sitting at a table and playing face to face. But it basically means not always worrying about the “right play” but what is right to do against this opponent. Anticipating their moves, buys, style. What they like to do, what makes them uncomfortable. Or plotting as you put it. It can involve simple banter at the table or pyshcological warfare:smiling_imp: I had a friend once that would never ever strat bomb me because he was convinced I’d shoot down his planes. Fun stuff! It doesn’t translate as well over triple a because I can’t look someone in the face and try to read them. I can look at older games and look at purchase trends, placements, movement, types of attacks, how people handle themselves especialy in the later rounds. Against you its more difficult (as I assume it is with most of the top tier players) You’ve seen it all (or so it seems) and can adapt and change without a bother to you. You prepare very well for your opponents potential moves. I learn alot when playing you.

I didn’t realize how deep of an opponent you are, with the careful psychological analysis going on! and I agree, understanding your opponent is a big key to consistent success, and the more you can predict their decisions, the more likely you will have a key advantage. I know I am doing it all the time, even if I am not always consciously aware of it!

Hope you got the dice emails. Also maybe after this ones over I could get your thoughts on my position as the allies after I liberated Egypt. I was and am a little stuck as to what to do. As I spin my wheels you just grow stronger each round. I’d be interested to see what you would have done. I am not as strong as an allied player so the help would be appreciated. I did try a little less aggressive strategy in the pacific than I usually do as well.
