I agree completely…… If I don’t have to, I will not build an AC at least not for the first 3 rounds. But I will build one once The allies start building up steam in Europe around turn 4.
Where to buy?

IVE SEEN German edition has a lot uf mechanized units:
http://www.historicalboardgaming.com/assets/images/hbg/axis minors/axis minor/ambgroup2.pngIts great idea merge this game with 1942 edition?
If you want to use those units in the 1942 game you need to create your own house rules to include them.

but is there any axis & allies with these units or not??

The answer to your questions depends on exactly what you’re looking for. From your various posts, I’m not certain of what that is. For example, in one of your posts you siad that “What i expext is units like mechanized, rockets, tank, super tank, helicopters.” No official A&A game ever published has ever featured rockets, super tanks (whatever those are) or helicopters. Such units have been produced as unofficial extras by third-party companies, but not as official parts of official A&A games.
One thing which might be helpful would be for you to decide which one of the following is your priority:
- Are you only interested in getting an official A&A game? If so, have a look at this site…
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=ah/downloads
…which provides downloadable rulebooks for most (but not all) of the A&A board games ever published. The rulebooks will tell you what units each game contains. The rulebooks for Europe 1940, Pacific 1940 and (if I remember correctly) 1942 include large charts which show all the units for all the countries.
- Are you only interested in getting special units like “mechanized, rockets, tank, super tank, helicopters” that you’ve mentioned? If so, you have to look away from the official A&A games because they don’t contain any such units. Instead, you need to look at other products – for example, the combat units currently made by HBG, or the older A&A expansion sets made by Table Tactics, or even at the units found in completely different games such as Fortress America.

I want to buy 1942 axis And Allies. Which kit to buy to add good units and more veichles strategy!Your best option, in my opinion, is to buy A&A 1942 2nd edition, and to supplement it with some of the battle pieces currently produced by Historical Board Games:
http://www.historicalboardgaming.com/See-All-Battle-Pieces_c_155.html
I don’t think HBG’s battle pieces come with rules, but many of its custom markers do…

…so you could probably make use of some of these rules.
Another source of rules, or at least of rule ideas, is this section of the forum…

…if you’re willing to take a bit of time to look at the post titles to find sections that might interest you.
If I’m not mistaken, the old supplementary unit packs produced by Table Tactics…

Axis & Allies: A & A Accessories
Central Powers, Axis & Allies Variant
New World Order, Axis & Allies Variant…did come with their own rules, but they’ve been out of print for a long time. You may still be able to find them on the secondary market.

thanks;
NO rules found on tanks -
I Read that 1942 is not the best.
It has small graphics map, no technology.
Revised is the best? Which is the best? -

Go to historicalboardgaming.com and look on the left of the screen. Almost every A&A game is listed. Start clicking. You will be able to see all the units that come with those games. If you want a quick one box unit expansion, and you don’t care about historical accuracy, get a Risk 2042 set. They are not as hard to find as some of the other older expansion/variant sets. The units don’t look the best. Some are down right sad. Also the colors only match A&A Classic. Otherwise go to HBG and start buying the units you want to add to the game. It’s faster than hoping for deals on ePay.
