@trenacker
I’ve been painting some pieces the last two weeks. I’m having trouble with Rustoleum Lemongrass for the UK. The paint doesn’t apply very well. I use Eden for USA, French blue for France, rustic orange for Japan, flat gray for Germany. Lemongrass is just a pain for whatever reason.

Good call on the Tiger Camo - I like the look of it. The Stukas are my favorite (just in general).

Yeah, the stukas are my favorites as well. They are cool planes in general. Thanks, I just wanted something different and cool looking.
I’m glad you like them. :-D

Great work John, looking really good.
@John:The next two pictures are what I call tiger desert scheme. Probably not historical accurate, but really wanted to do this for my set. :-D
While it is good having historically accurate pieces, there is a lot to be had with artistic license :-D If we were painting for some one else we would make it that way but because we get to play with them we can do whatever colours or schemes we can think of. So yes, my airforce has artistic license as well.

Awesome job John. I also love the tiger camo. Keep up the great work my friend. You only get better :)

Well, I’m glad I’m not the only one, who feels that way. I’m glad you liked them. :-D

Thanks Cyanight, I do think I’m getting better. The real test is when I paint the noses on the gray camo scheme, on phase five, because it will have red and yellow noses.
I just need to paint thin coats, like you all said.
Phase four is 30% done, and will be really neat, because I went crazy on it, as well, with four different camo patterns.
Well, I’m glad you all like these.
I feel so much better about this set, than the last two, for sure. :-D
Cheers,
John

Update: Phase four of the German Luftwaffe, painted in the winter camo scheme, will be completed sometime, next week. It just needs a protective coat and decals.
I just finished painting all 27 planes in four different camo designs. I hope you will like them. :-D

Update: Guys, I have been busy and have only decaled two planes. I will try to have the planes done by Sunday, but not going to promise, I can get it done in time. The next two days will determine, if I can get done by Sunday.
I have already began phase five of the German Luftwaffe in the gray camo scheme. With this group, I will be redoing part of phase one and two, which will be 29 planes, plus the last scheme in the grey camo, but will also add HBG’s German Do-X Seaplanes and the Me-323 Transport Planes
You will know which ones I have redone, by the edit date. I will not erase old pictures until I take the pictures of the new and improved planes.
I felt like the phase three was the turning point on me getting better.
The night camo with white fighters and tac bombers, I feel are adequate for me, but I will be redoing the bombers, because I feel they need to be redone.
The night camo with yellow, I feel the need to redo these, because I feel I can do a better job, because of what I know now.
The green camo scheme with yellow, I feel the same way, however the green camo with red is adequate to me. I felt I did alright with those.
All the Do-x seaplanes will be in the gray camo scheme. I looked up the picture of these planes, and I only see them in gray.
However, the Me-323 Transport planes, I will do one in the night, winter and gray camo schemes, because I’ve already did the green and desert camo schemes for these planes.
I’m hoping to have all the Luftwaffe done by the end of the month. I want to start April with the German Navy.
These are my goals. If I don’t finish decaling this week, I will try to get them next week.
Real life has been interfering with things.
When I get done, I will post pictures. Hopefully, you will like the improved planes, as well as the new stuff. :-)
Thanks,
John

Guys, I had a great night, tonight, and was able to decal 13 planes. I have 12 more to go and will have photos by Sunday. :-)

Well guys, I was able to work on the planes, two nights in a row, and managed to get the phase four of the Luftwaffe done in the winter camo. I will post pictures tomorrow. I just need to let them dry from the coating first. :-)

Phase Four of Five Camo Schemes of the German Luftwaffe
**German Luftwaffe painted in the Winter Camo Scheme consisting of 27 planes in four unique winter patterns for your viewing pleasure. I painted my own artistic design for one of these patterns, which is the zebra pattern, I also repeated the cheetah pattern, I did one with short lines down the whole plain, which I will call the winter grass look, and then the last one, I will call it the webbing design pattern. LOL, I don’t know what else to call them, but three of these I got from pictures. Germany had tons of schemes, too numerous to count. I sure hope you enjoy these pictures. I had a lot of fun doing these and as a result of taking my time on these, I think they turned out, alright. :-D
As the allies were making their way across a the snowy mountain pass, the Germans swallowed them up like an avalanche taking down a small village down below a mountainside. The news of the devastation of the snowy pass reached the allied command headquarters, and the allied command were not happy with the results, for the allies were once again, caught in a snare.
The first two pictures are the whole group of planes.

The next two pictures are the Zebra Patterned and the Webbed Camo Group.
