Keep gameboards from moving

Has anybody come up with a good way to keep the Pacific or Europe game boards from moving and coming apart in the middle of games? Every time we play, somebody, myself included, seems to always knock the boards apart and its a pain in my neck always adjusting them. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Go to an office supply store and pick up one of those cheap clear plastic report covers with a plastic spine. Take the spine and cut it into short pieces, and slide the board edges into them at the joints.

We just use those black binder clips the small ones.

My Global 1940 map rests on a gaming table I made, and is covered by a large sheet of acrylic sheeting. This setup keeps the map firmly in place, and also provides a smooth surface (without map fold cracks) for the game piece. You can see a photo of it in the first picture of the first post in this thread:

We put some packing tape (the one you use to seal boxes) in the back of the maps. It holds very well (has never separated) and comes off without any damage to the board.

LOL that wouldn’t work - the ships in the pacific would keep falling in the butt crack.

I’m using a piece of rubber shelf liner (like ‘Grip-It’ on Amazon) between tabletop and each A&A board. Stuff is like $1 a roll at the grocery store. Slight dampening affect and definitely keeps things from sliding around.
