Im still waiting to buy it. I will stay patient, perfection takes time.
First post in this thread was december 21, 2012, and that post tell us the game had 7 years of playtesting, before 2012. Then it took 5 and a half year in production. Perfection sure takes time.
-
In 2005 the game wasn’t going to be published until about 2010 and at that point it when thru ALOT of changes. Fortunately, the publisher saw it and thought it was fantastic
-
Not sure what the post telling me about the time its taken was supposed to accomplish. I feel like it just confirmed my point that perfection takes time. I personally am willing to wait.
-
That post was a reply to Narvik ( Also Adlertag, Foxy, Eagle, etc) he has many names here.
-
I meant his post in response to mine.
-
Exactly what do you mean ?
-
I just said perfection takes time. You then gave me a timeline of the creation of this game. I am unsure what the goal of the post was
-
And I said, that in this case perfection took 12 years, and we are still waiting. Exactly what part of my post made you unsure ?
-
Well the fact that it isn’t released yet means that its not perfect (whether it be rulebook wording, coloring, whatever). So in saying this took 12 years to be perfect and we are still waiting seems contradictory to me.
-
Right. we want to be careful not to make past mistakes of other games.
-
How are the colors and rules coming?
-
Not sure one guy is going to China to sort out colors, Rules in process of tweeking still.
Problem is we pick a color and it comes out different when the piece is made.

Assuming your quantities are high enough provide the manufacturer with Pantone Color Match Codes. It’s the worldwide standard for precise color matching and any reputable manufacturer will be able to get exactly the color you asked for assuming quantities that make it worthwhile for them.
-
Pantone Color Match Codes
Thats what we use, but the color we see on computer and with the actual piece sample don’t look the same.

Computers will display differently based on settings.
You either need a pantone color code book or to have your display calibrated to actual print colors (not as easy) to see the actual colors.
(speaking from 17 years in printing and 3 years of plastics manufacturing experience all using Pantone color codes) -
I have not been getting notifications from this thread, but I am surprised that it takes this long. I know it needs to be good without problems, but darn!
-
Is there going to be pre ordering available for this?
-
Yes but no date yet

Yes, agree, but you know IL have to mind his day job too, so he only have evenings, weekends and some holidays to work on this project. Just hope I get this game before our Lord and Savior come and pick me up due to my high age and heart condition. Based on this thread, I would not make a bet.

Hold out for another decade and they’ll fit you with a plastic heart. You can pretty much live forever then. Which you’re gonna need to do if you want to ever play this game.
