I had one cruiser with bombardment support ( I don’t know why that didn’t show on the list above)
I had a 73% of taking the territory (but it’s the unequal casualties that caused the disaster) Expected result was that I would take the territory with 1 tank.
The horror was that even though I was expected to get 4.5 hits. I only inflicted 2. You were expected to get 4 hits and inflicted 6 hits. It was the combination of an extremely favorable defense and an extreme unfavorable attack that made this a disaster.
Oh, and then both italian cruisers and battleship hit in the naval attack. 1 in 6 are the odds of that happening.
