Axis and Allies Acronyms Commonly Used

I believe that in the forum CC is sometimes used to mean cruiser.

BB = battleship
DD = destroyer

TT- Transport
tt- territory (I know tt is used across the boards in both ways)

I use TT for Territory and
TP for TransPort, there is less confusion that way.
And it is half way toward AP standard code of Navy for transport.
I don’t know what the A was for.

Here’s a useful list from http://www.hazegray.org/faq/designat.htm#t1-2-1.  One item not noted is that “CC” was a projected designation for the US interwar battlecruisers which were never completed.
