  • Hi Me, same as in my other game, cannot post the summary from this computer. I attach the file.

    I tried to build a major IC in Manchuria, I thought all preconditions (size 3, owned from start of game) are met, but programe does not allow. Maybe a Chinese thing? In any case, if this is a definitive ruling, a minor IC goes there, BUT I need to redo my buys and mobilizations by editing. Pls give me your thoughts. Right now I edited in a major.


  • I think that TripleA is right not allowing a major IC in Manchuria. Rules say: Major industrial complexes can only be built on originally controlled territories. And Krieghund clarifies that the printed emblem on a territory always indicates original ownership. @ http://www.harrisgamedesign.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=5914&p=40873&hilit=can+japan+build+major+IC+in+Manchuria#p40873

    To be perfectly correct: the clarification is posted in the Alpha +2 thread, but I did not see any changes about that in Alpha 3.

  • In US2 CM I am planning sz6 attack with ftr Guam (lands in Amur) and sz26/Gawaii  planes landing in sz7 AC from sz10 and sz16 AC from sz26. Looks like TripleaA doesn’t allow me to land the Guam ftr in Russia. The landing should be legal since US at war. Do you think that is a TripleaA bug (I can fix it by temporary adding a US AC , say, to sz5, or I am missing some rule prohibiting such landing? Please advise.

  • When I built what I built, I was aware of the Russia landing site, and I did so exactly because Russia is neutral and not a legitimate landing space. If my assumption is wrong, I again have to change builds. But its like when the US is not at war, and ANZAC is (should UK declare war to Japan then US is not at war with Japan), then US could not use ANZAC harbours, for example.
