I’ve played monopoly with 2 boards side by side and can’t build any hotels. You need doubles rolled to jump from board to board.
The true story of "Saddam Hussien" on the cover of Fortress America
-
Ok, I can’t remember where I heard this story but that is NOT Saddam on the fortress boxtop. That guy was actually like a janitor that worked at Milton Bradley! The folks down there needed a likeness of someone hispanic to represent the southern invaders…Dude just happened to look like Hussien…How USA is that?
As for the new fortress, It looks like they grabbed Michael Biehn From “The Rock” to be on this cover. Maybe he works in the cafeteria down at Fantasy Flight, either way, can’t wait for the release, whenever that is…I heard Memorial Day.

Fortress America came out in 1986. Here’s Saddam on the Box
Here is one with Saddam wearing a beret.
This photo was taken in 1983
So suffice to say, Saddam was in power, looking similar, in the news/current events, well before Fortress America came out, thus, it was the intention of the artist, to draw Saddam on the box!
-
The Americans actually bought him that beret. Donald Rumsfeld gave him the money.

Ahhh he was comunist then, I see…how could I miss that…
:-D :-D :-D :-D -
Operation “conspicuous cover up”! :P lol…

:-D :-D :-D :-DNo no. Saddam was on OUR SIDE back then.

Haha, I love the sunglasses they put on dude in the later release. in 1986, I think our biggest pain was Muamar Kaddafi, but then again, they didnt have a Libyan invader in the game. Ask Marty Mcfly, He would probably call them the “North African Resistance”, if he was allowed to be a game tester.
Still no word on the re-release…soonsoonsoon!!!

It’s amazing how the simple addition of a beard and sunglasses instantly transforms Saddam’s nationality from Iraqi to Colombian
-
That is too funny.
