GARGANTUA'S $200 TOURNAMENT OF EXTRA DEATH AND PAIN (TripleA Only) 2xELIMINATION
-
I also typically couple J1 DOW with sea lion fein -> G3 novgorod hold unless london is not well defended in which case take london. I rush hard for russia while simultaneously going for pacific win. I don’t care which side of the board I win with as far as tournament play goes, but a pacific victory feels better.
Anyway, I’ll show you guys how to play the allies like a champ.
-
I mean if you guys don’t want to play the axis aggressively it just makes the allies that much easier
-
Do you think part of the problem with your J1 strategy, Cow, is that everyone knows exactly how it works? A feint isn’t a feint unless people think you’re actually gonna do it.
-
A feint is as good as the real thing, so long as you still CAN do it.
-
when will we start our game garg?
(don’t forget to start it on triplea 1.6.1 and global 3.1, with tech turned off)
-
I’ll start tonight probably.
We just needed to get our team organized. Looks like -Satinpurpledefender- is my only hope.
-
I mean I don’t want to do sea lion, but if I get better than a coin flip at it… sure why not. I mean WHY NOT?
-
If you got 50/50 for a capital, it is never a bad move.
-
fyi, our team apparently has no secrets….
-
yeah we don’t need to keep no secrets man. Everyone knows I just throw my stuff at people.
-
anyway you should play russia so you can have an idea of what you need to bring to the fight when you are germany.
-
There is no secret, I buy stuff to attack something, I am going to attack. There is no waiting there is only going, WITH MAX POWER MAXIMUM AND HIGHER.
-
what is your team called garg, I want to start the thread or something… lol come on meow.
-
COME AT ME BRO!
-
or ima get u.
-
sorry veqryn, but it is moo hard to keep moo secrets when moo strategy guides are up. I been thinking of posting the allies strategy guide, to see if people develop their axis play after that. What people do on triple a right now, is what people will do on the forums 6 months later. People just get more games in on triple a and guys like freaking zhukov, etc etc turn the game into a science.

@Cow:
COME AT ME BRO!
Shouldn’t that be: come at US, bro?
Seems to me that playing as an individual in a team game can be a rather fatal flaw.
@Cow:
I been thinking of posting the allies strategy guide, to see if people develop their axis play after that.
This assumes that your Allied strategy is sound. Do you have independent verification of this claim? Or are we to just take your word for it?
And it doesn’t appear that people need to be developing their Axis play. The Axis are winning more games in the tourney than the Allies(at a rate of 2 to 1 so far) so I find it hard to believe that the current Axis strategies aren’t up to snuff.
fyi, our team apparently has no secrets….
yea we already knew that:)
No secrets eh? I wonder if he’ll give us his bank account number, password, and PIN.
-
Meh, of course axis are winning more games. Allies have to coordinate. It is easy to seperate japan and germany/italy as they are primarily or exclusively on one of the two boards.
Plus all those allied lossed games, were full of missed opportunities. Missing free japan transport kills, is just throwing the game, of course they lose.
-
Best way to split allies is, one person takes russia only or russia/china/anzac, while the other gets uk and usa or uk/usa/china/anzac. That way things make sense. Which is why I want veqryn to be russia/anzac.
After russia dies he can take uk. I am probably going heavy pacific or something crazy.Man garg is putting so much thought into g1, either that or he is trying to find a goood japan player, going to wait another week I feel.
