FYI we will be using TripleA 1.6.1 and Global 3.1 (but no tech) for our global xdap game

I recommend any new games use both.
And I recommend Technology be turned off unless both players agree to turn it on (for this tournament only).

Aw. You HAD to do that to me. I just loaded “1.6”. My tripleA icons for the different versions are going to start outnumbering all my other icons. :-P

yeah people were trippin out about okinawa not having (1) on it… though it counted for production and everything as a dolla.

Team BoldDutch over team Creature Commandos
Allies pull out a strong victory in Round 11 after losing Calcutta and Lenningrad eariler in the war. China ending with a 146 TUV and a liberation of all their provinces (including the one leased to the British), which you won’t see very often.
Very fun game. Dice Gods had a major say in this one to be sure.

I am still surprised to see a lack of aggression in this tournament, with the exception of sea lions. Makes moo sad. :(
I’ll DOW J1 next time I am axis. I’ll try to do something cool as allies for my game with garg.

So far DOW J1 = Axis loss, right? Is there a victor in the tourny with the Axis on a DOW J1?

only one person did it and it was a modified version. I do not advocate pearl harbor unless you are strait up gunning for new south wales on J3.

I also typically couple J1 DOW with sea lion fein -> G3 novgorod hold unless london is not well defended in which case take london. I rush hard for russia while simultaneously going for pacific win. I don’t care which side of the board I win with as far as tournament play goes, but a pacific victory feels better.
Anyway, I’ll show you guys how to play the allies like a champ.

Do you think part of the problem with your J1 strategy, Cow, is that everyone knows exactly how it works? A feint isn’t a feint unless people think you’re actually gonna do it.

A feint is as good as the real thing, so long as you still CAN do it.
