Thanks for the update. Enjoy your travels :)
GARGANTUA'S $200 TOURNAMENT OF EXTRA DEATH AND PAIN (TripleA Only) 2xELIMINATION
-
Hey I would have won that game if german fighters just hit their fours on defense… that was the saddest defense rolls I have seen in ages.
-
It is nothing compared to the major catastrophe that occured yesterday when pacman lost a split decision to bradley. G*d d**n Vegas decisions, I wonder how much money the judges got paid to give it to Bradley. That was retarded. Ugh, wish axis won WWII, the allies are retarded these days, oh well hindsight is always 20/20

@seththenewb:
@Cow:
Seth is doing a good job of making us fight for our victory, he might pull it off, we will see.
All this talk about winning the tourney and meanwhile back in reality with the rest of us, you’re still in the midst of a very competitive game in round one. :roll:
You all might have the advantage. The battle for India will go off with a whimper with the withdrawal of the allies. But the war rages on. All I really need is one battle to go my way or a misstep on the part of the axis and the allies will emerge victorious! :evil:
Honestly, I think Seth is right. The only “luck” we’ve had so far was in China (to which Garg gave Seth a BB for free, using rule #7). I lost a good 1/3 of my japanese fleet to an ANZAC move two rounds ago, which means the USA fleet in the pacific is quite a bit larger than my own now.
Axis have the advantage right now, but we are really only 1 big mistake, or 1 diced battle away from being put at a disadvantage. The game is far from over.

**OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT BRACKETING ATTACHED!!![/[/color]b]
What happens to the last match between 2 undefeated player’s?
Does the loser of this match go on to match up against the winner of the “last stand” bracket?
Then the winner of that goes on to play the undefeated player?** -

What happens to the last match between 2 undefeated player’s?
Does the loser of this match go on to match up against the winner of the “last stand” bracket?
Then the winner of that goes on to play the undefeated player?Yes. It’s all detailed if you take a really good look at the expanded bracketing.
-
so the loser bracket has to play 8 games total while the winner bracket has to play 6?
-
just make the final match between winner bracket and loser bracket best of 3.
-
Keep in mind that the ‘loser’ bracket has ‘lost’ a game.
There’s no sense in it being a mandatory “best of 3” if the winner of the top bracket, bests winner of the losing bracket, in the first game.
There is only an “extra” game, if the winner of the top bracket, loses in the -championship- game. Then it’s go time. :)

May I ask Garg, Why is my team getting units? All the bad luck has been on the other team’s side. (Are we just that bad at this game??? :roll:)
-
Oh is that how it’s going to be then…
-
14. Speedo Hares (Vold) vs 22. Atlanta Axis (JeffM + rgp44)
Atlanta Axis wins as Allies.

How are sides determined in round 2, or is it determined for us? From the flow chart, I’m not sure.
Also, it will be a slow start for me - my partner may have to fill in for me until work clears up.
-
I’m happy with one of either.
A. Coin Flip
B. BOTH parties agreeing to a bid, and then bidding.I’ll leave it up to you…
