Who plays Napoleon in Europe?

So after all that typing to get the rules clarifications resurrected, I’m hoping it was worth while.
Who here plays this game?Post you thoughts.
-
I have it but the combat system is broken. I remember that some unit was too strong ( not sure but either artillery or cavalry). Somebody made a fixed combat thats posted somewhere.
-
Yes, that was the cavalry. They could move 1 space and then fire. But that was for civil war. In Napoleon, the ability to shoot with cavalry was removed, so it wasn’t an issue.
Amazing lack of response to this thread.
Did I waste my time with the F A Q?

Sometimes it takes a long time before people respond. Nothing you did was a waste of time.

Did I waste my time with the F A Q?
:cry:If I played this game I would be grateful for the work you did on the FAQ. :|

What is this. Could you post a link jim?

Nice work, been looking for this game, can’t find it for the right price.
-
Hard to come by. I’ve seen it sell for about $100.
I’ve managed to get all the extra pieces, stickers and terrain cards for my copy.
-
hey, i love this one. a friend of mine has a copy of NiE and I might have a chance to play it in the near future ( next month ). so no worry jim, I will definitely bring your FAQ to the game table.
also note that this game is quite long and it’s not that easy to find player in real life. has anyone ever attempt to put it online / PBEM? :?

Using Eagle Games ‘Fast Play’ rules, it could be played, but there is no battle board. In my opinion, the battle board makes this game fun.
I don’t see how you could play it online with the battle board, however, as every movement needs to be done separately.
