Could you state what color your German pieces will be when they come out? I want the “official” word.

(and yes, I really really want the Germans to be black, like the 1942/1941/1940 color schemes - I won’t buy them if they come gray)

Lol - thanks for the much needed advice. I just really want FMG to do this the right way, unlike WotC and a bunch of other companies. I am in for at least $200 of pieces if these match colors - I have 2 copies each of Anniversary, Pacific40, (TBA - Europe40) and like 5 of AA42 - just for extra pieces!

FMG- The unit list in the update thread seems a bit out of date with the other things that have been talked about here. Can you list the unit types that will now be included with each army set? Here’s what I remember:

If I remember correctly those will all be on a separate mould, not with each individual nation (but part of the ‘complete’ set when all is said and done).

This is correct.  These will be available separately or with the complete set.

And they will be an stock colour (Grey)

It seem to be a slight change there will be a Railway Station too in the upcoming AA40 Europe and Global game. How about you being clairvoyanced and make a mold for that too.

Naval Base boost ships with one extra space.
Airbase boost aircrafts with one extra space.
Railway Station boost land units with one extra space.

Its pretty obvious you will need to make this mold too.

Unless WotC has made a change, there wasn’t a railroad station piece in the playtesting.

Once again, I think that this is something that has been proposed by someone and it has been picked up by another as something that is in the game.

I would advise you to go back and research where this idea came from to see if this actually came from Larry.  I don’t think that it did.

I guess it is not so obvious after all.

We are way ahead of the pack on this one.

In the “special” mould there will be the extras like Naval Bases and Air Bases. AA guns etc…  I was toying with the idea of adding a RAIL CAPACITY token or piece for the last year.  It was something I really liked from playing an AAA variant years ago.  This idea is still on the table.

ASIDE:

I had a phone conference with the factory yesterday.  There has been some foot-dragging on their part over the last two months in regards to this project.  I was told I would have completed sculpts in a week.  Then the samples are being sent to me for approval.

The completion of the ANZAC and FRANCE dice also set them back…

I hope this meeting leads to this thing moving faster.  If not I’m going to jump on a plane and bust some heads over there!

Everyone is just gettin’ antsy around here. I am sure everyone is happy that there is something to look forward to, and they will be happier when they have them. I for one appreciate everything that you are doing.
