Yikes! Ok, thanks, again. Making sure everyone updates to the latest version, before starting a new game, is, inevitably, mid-game, for their other games, which would then mess up those games. Installing and running different Triple A versions in different directories sounds like a nightmare to this tech challenged fella. It doesn’t sound like I have a choice, though. Dammit!

So apparently it is impossible to play G40 2e without entering a bid into the settings ?

It does not sound like you only want to edit something in in Edit Mode.

Several games ive had crash at start with no bid entered in the settings
However entering the bid in the settings and no crashMaybe it was a coincidence with a bugged bot

This is not a normal behaviour of course.
You have the latest Java Runtime Environment (7u65) installed?
