Looks awesome IL. I thought it was going to be a global game I must have been thinking about something else. I hope to get a copy of this someday.

As an option, i offer a free download of a full Africa map to use as a sideshow game. A global map makes no sense for Asia since German colonies are mostly undefended and they had just a few cruisers causing problems.

As you can see the game is done except we need to get the rules explained very well and that means rewrite after rewrite. Producer did acknowledge that this will be done this year BTW.
The set up has also changed in favor of less pieces overall starting but in due time i will post the other setups which all have more player options which i am in favor of. Also, working on a 1917 setup so all or most players will start game with most technologies and USA is a player

Will the ottomans be just red/orange germans or do they get their own sculpture like in AA14?

no most of the colors will be different. Problem is we select a color and China makes it and somehow it looks goofy. The trick is to “calibrate their incompetence” in such matters and produce a color that they mistakenly make as correct.
Our goal is to use distinctive colors that work in most lighting situations and don’t look similar and not garish
I also have constant arguments about the gloss on pieces. I love it, producer not so much. The plastic is really high quality on these pieces, better than AA for sure.
The ottomans will be a deeper or darker ( stronger) color… more red but not red
Germany will be a tad darker
Austrians will be more light
Russia is totally messed up
Italy is too bright and will be more like the current Russians
The British and French are mostly correctAlso, we have a upgraded “Deluxe” set coming up. This will be an even larger map and some new pieces ( Sea mines, Factories, Coastal and Land forts, etc). Limited quantities of these. Not sure about custom dice.
Americans will be darker

With the deluxe, is there a way to play the original on the deluxe board? And how large will the board be? I guess the first question assumes different rules for the deluxe. Is there different rules or just different pieces?

The original? The maps are the same one is just larger.
Same rules same game just the pieces represent whats on the map already, but they can be damaged and now we use chips to indicate damage with a dedicated piece.

Did you make the map yourself using Photoshop? What kind of material is it printed on?

I did make the map but had some help to make it better, CS3 and printed on vinyl

You may have already answered this, but do you plan to have a Kickstarter or similar setup so we can contribute to your costs?

No but it was considered. I kinda don’t believe in that sort of thing. I don’t gauge the audience willingness to buy something before its made because im not controlling when its made. I didn’t invest the money, i just made the game. Kickstarter seems like a looser place, for loosers who scam people and it doesn’t feel right.

Rulebook was rewritten and needs formating and Battleboard had 5 spaces and only needed 4. Thats it

Good job. We just want to not have any part of the rules that are unclear, the rewrite was done by someone who has written hundreds of wargames rules and designed alot of games himself.
