the US fighter is a typo CONFIRMED though.
COW, a strategic bomber IS a real bomber… tactical bombers are different.

lame oh well. was really hoping the allies would be fun to play for once. As soon as the pacific connects to europe for a global game, that is it.
Europe alone is about even, pacific alone favors japan, hence global favors axis.
Nothing you can really do about Japan though, you nerf it and japan doesn’t even get to blow up, you buff usa and it makes KJF the dominant strategy.
Was expecting some changes in the europe half.
Maybe a couple more russian inf or something.I’d like -1 inf italy-1 inf berlin.-1 inf greater southern germany. -

you can win so many games with a surprise take over washington move, only works the first time though.
Damn, one of my full cheese strategies is ruined.
See what you would do is on g2, get carriers and transports and a destroyer, that is all you need. load one carrier with italy fighters. ship it to sz 103 on g3. you can build carriers on normandy g3, so you can get more of your air in the fight on g4.
Bam take down east usa.
your odds are pretty good if some of your subs made it out of round 1.

Now that we know the Pacific- and Global setup, too,
it turns out that the one and only difference in the (Global) Setup is in Egypt:Alpha 3:
- UK: 2 Infantry, 1 Mechanized Infantry, 1 Artillery, Naval Base
- Anzac: 2 Infantry
Global 2ndEd:
- UK: (2-1=) 1 Infantry, 1 Mechanized Infantry, 1 Artillery, Naval Base
- Anzac: 2 Infantry

It says: “Egypt: 2 Infantry, 1 Mechanized Infantry, 1 Artillery, Naval Base” for UK-Setup and 2 ANZAC Inf.
Now it is, according to djensen in
“Egypt: 2 ANZAC infantry and remove 1 UK infantry”
The initial startup for UK-Infantry in Egypt is 2 according to the new Europe setup charts.
So for Global startup it is one UK Inf remaining in Egypt.
Pretty clear - as I think.
… although I am not sure if this was intended - because this seems to be the only change in the setup compared to the latest Alpha3 …

Did not think you would make a mistake Panther. I downloaded Alpha 3 in Jan 12, after you guys pointed me that way. That version says one Inf.
Will look at the link later. (Even I sometimes have other work responsibilities!)
