It worked!
Wait until you see Young Grasshopper’s setup. It’s pretty darn cool.
Saw it, and mightily impressed, but i’m curious how does one get such a large size map? or how does one make one?
What a crazy planet one side hot (2500 degrees) the other side frozen… its crazy!
reminds me of the famous hot pocket skit by Jim Garretty on comedy central
Pretty much makes it a certainty that it has no atmosphere. The moon has readical temp extremes from light to dark (about a 500 degree F variance). And Mercury has about an 1800 degree variance…
You know they also say Mercury has polar ice caps… even if the equator is 450 degres. the poles are quite removed form direct sunlight and traped ice is said to be located in craters and in the shadows. That would be something to land on mercury… incredable!
It is an effect we ahve in orbit and on the moon… sun side is 250 or so positive F, shadow side is 250 or so negative F. That is why designing a space suit is such a beotch… it has to curculate the heat to the cold side and the cold to the hot side fast enough to keep one side from freezing and shattering, the hot side from boiling.
And the closer to a source of sloar raditiona you get, the more intense the shift (as seen on Mercury)
Do you mean Jim Gaffigan?
Yea him. The official hot pocket spokesperson
