Alpha +3 Changelist would be much better than reposting all the rules again

    Alpha 2 is stand alone.  Get that, make the changes, then get Alpha 3 and make the adjustments.

    Misspoke.  Once you have the alpha 2 rules, you pretty much have the alpha 3 rules - for the most part, from there it’s only a few relatively minor tweaks to get Alpha 3. (Game board setup changes, interceptor/escort changes, AA Gun rule changes, a few technology adjustments and russian non-aggression pact and I think that’s all from Alpha 2 to Alpha 3.)

  • wow ok sweet now i get it! alpha 3 on his site is just alpha 2 with the changes listed in a different color. i thought those were the OOB rules changed thats why i was so confused. thanks alot.

    yeah, just a few minor changes from A2 to A3.  Whacked out aa guns, SBR changes, setup changes, DOW changes, NO changes, addition of German and reduction of allied units, I’m mostly surprised that A3 uses 6 sided dice, why didn’t he make radical changes to that?  Or have every attacking units attack value switched so now 6s are hits and 1s are misses.

    Wouldn’t call them radicle.  I’d call them very minor actually.  I love, adore, the aa gun rule changes!  I think they should be retroactively rammed down everyone’s throat in all previous versions of the game from classic on up!


  • I like the new AA Guns.

    BTW I just made sheets that I can print out for every power that has their starting IPCs, their DOW rules and who thery are at war with, their NOs, the current turn order and a change-list like I mentioned above so u can use the OOB setups with these sheets and adjust the deployment according to the sheet. Its nothing fancy I just made them on microsoft word but I find it helps new player and people unfamilliar with the new rule sets ALOT.

    How would I upload these sheets so everyone can look at them, and if they think they are worthwhile, print them out and use them.

    I won’t be able to upload today and the most part of tommorow though

  • You do. I’m actually going to take out the changelist on those papers and put the full new deployment. Looking at the box then paper back and forth is stupid lol
