What is exactly was the point of making the two previously French units in France British? It just seems like more of a headache to setup, since they all end up dying any way.

The latest Alpha+3.9 should be the default for Global conversations and OOB, alpha+2, & alpha+3 should have their own sticky threads.

It’s really aesthetics unless France survives G1, which shouldn’t ever happen.

And it’s also to appease the history buffs who noted UK’s presence in France.

I get the British units in France, but why are there 2 French infantry and a fighter stationed in London while their country is at war?

Those French units in UK might be thought of as leftovers from all over Europe (Polish etc.).

Because with the game mechanics it was too hard to find a way to allow the historically accurate fleeing of military units from the mainland to England between G1 and UK1?

Fair enough, but this game should be about rewriting history, and not replaying it.

Ya…. I talked to the guys, and that’s not happening.

For hallowe’en my mom always made me dress up in my dad’s clothing and go as “a bum”.  Now I dress like that all the time.  (not a true story BTW just being a jerk).

I guess, but we’re still not dressing up. I imagine I will wear a Habs shirt, Germany will wear a Bills shirt, and Japan will wear a Man U shirt. Although we are Facists, I can’t tell them what to wear. Feel free to wear a German uniform while we play, it might bring us luck (My bet is you will play Germany on Sunday).

Any time you can go in period garb, do it for the looks. Also have some good answers to obvious questions. Im a mideival reenactor and its great to see the looks when your in costume. When they ask if your in a play or an actor and you say no we always dress like this. Or what do you do, ( carring a great sword or sword and sheild in armor) and we say were in the busines of hurting people
