OK, I was gracious before, but now I can’t let this one go.
2 fighters and 2 bombers vs. infantry and artillery
41% chance of no losses

Then, you kill 6 Allied units without losing anything at all.
Then, for the second straight round I attack the Germans with overwhelming odds and get whipped. I traded 5 units for 6, and I had very high odds on all battles. 3 units for 3 the turn before, again with very high odds going in.Despite suffering 0 difficult losses from the dice this game, you find yourself in a difficult situation. I understand why you would be stressed.
A little perspective….
On G2 against Dutch, I attacked the British fleet (sub, destroyer, carrier, cruiser, battleship, 2 fighters) with a sub, cruiser, carrier, 4 fighters and a bomber
Looking to go round by round. 50% chance of wiping his fleet on G2. I got 1 hit (absorbed by battleship) and he got 4, which cut into my airforce.On US4 Dutch gambled and attacked the Italian fleet of DD, CA, 2 CV, 3 FTR, BB with 8 FTR and 2 BMB. He lost only 4 fighters. I saw him commenting on another thread that “I came away with a couple extra fighters”. Never mind the fact there was only an 82% chance that anything would survive at all. He got the top 13% chance of all results.
You complain after failing on a 59% chance of downing a single fighter? Haven’t you played enough A&A to know that the dice will make you look foolish, as they did on G4 and R4?
All I’m saying is, complain when you have something to complain about. You’ve been enjoying a somewhat charmed game thus far. As I predicted and warned Dutch - watch out when your luck finally starts to fail. :-)
