do you think you can add the PZL P.11 or the PZL P.24 to the list the turks, romanians, and greeks used the PZL P.24. and the PZL P11 was the poles main fighter. either one of the models could work for all 4 of the factions since the 2 models looked alike

Does the light grey match any of the greys in your axis minor set? (I hope so, as it will help me fill in the naval gap.)

Yes,
The light grey will be the same.
I forgot, it will also be in yellow, which will match the yellow in the axis minor set. -

alternatives:
in spain they used http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savoia-Marchetti_SM-81
also this looks even better…http://www.militaryfactory.com/aircraft/detail.asp?aircraft_id=814 -
I agree with IL completely on this one. especially on the Tac. I have enough P-38s for everyone. His choice is better on this one.

Agree,
Let’s explore a better choice for the TAC.
Good ideas so far. -
the breda looks nice and it was used by a lot of neutral countries. still want to make a case for the PZL’s. compared to the Fokker D.XXI it was used as by a wider range of naturals countries not to mention Poland. if i had to choose between the 2 i would pick the PZL but i rather see both if posible

@coachofmany:

I forgot, it will also be in yellow, which will match the yellow in the axis minor set.Awesome. I was hoping you would also do yellow as it would be a good color for doubling as a Spanish army. I assume that the antique white of the axis neutrals is a different color than the neutral white. (Personally I hope they are the same for the same reason I mentioned in my first post.)
I also agree that a less P-38 looking Tac would be a good thing.

Doesn’t “antique ivory” have sort of a very light brown tint to it? Or perhaps more of a yellowish tint?
-
How about for a Tac, the Swedish Saab 17.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saab_17
Especially as the Italian planes noted above are already the Italian tac and bomber by FMG.

I like it! It falls in line with the other tacs already in OOB.

Brownish white, slight yellow tint I guess.

one thing that MIGHT be worth it is maybe 2 more inf,–1 as pro allied, one as pro axis,

Coach, Excellent list. I agree with IL go with the other aircraft for a TAC. Much better choice. I already wat too many P-38s.
Cheers -

also this looks even better…http://www.militaryfactory.com/aircraft/detail.asp?aircraft_id=814It makes no sense to do Italian models for the neutrals, considering that we already have a full range of German, Italian, and Axis Minor sculpts (and Coach has already announced that he has more German variants coming on top of that…) Between all of the different neutral/ minor countries, surely there’s a more unique sculpt he could choose!
I can understand that the criticism that it looks too much like a P-38, though the argument that it looks too “modern” makes no sense. It looks like what it is, which is not especially modern by WW2 standards. Even the P-38 itself was more an early-war than a late-war model. In the West it was destined to be almost entirely replaced late-war by P-47 and P-51 fighters. (Note, btw, the much higher numbers in the model designations of the later models: there were nine other proposed fighter designs in between the P-38 and the P-47… and even the P-40 was a later design!)

Pics of the Neutrals are up on Historical Board Gaming’s Facebook page! Go check it out…
-
I was checking out the Neutral sculpts and noticed in the back what looks like some sort of truck. In the list of different units, there is no truck listed. Is this a new addition? What model is it?
I am assuming it would go with the “2” quantity pieces, so there will be 8 infantry instead of 10?
-
I’ve been asking Coach about this but he’s been hush hush even to me… I’ll keep after him
EDIT: Just got my answer. It’s a Polish truck and yes it will reduce the infantry count to 8 per set giving 2 trucks instead.
