If i ever buy a gun it will be the Winchester with the 440. But really i collect timepieces, pens, and old Chess sets. Not Guns. Have no need for them. I don’t live anywhere near a crappy area
( City of Venice, CA is close but i don’t go there).Yea shoot a gun…big deal…fired lots of guns in the firing range…boring in 5 minutes

The 1911 is my .45
But I much prefer my mag fed 12 gauge grizzly.

One can never go wrong with a Springfield.
I’m actually thinking of buying a Springfield XD 45. I have an XD9 and am quite pleased with it. The only gripe would be that the magazines aren’t as beveled as I’d like which causes me to be a little more focused when doing an emergency reload…but that just means I have to practice harder which will improve that skill across the board since most magazine fed pistols have a wider mag port or magazines where their tops are more angled for easier insertion.

I have an XD 45 the missus has the XD 9. Both are very nice. @Cromwell the reason I practice is exactly for the same reason why you don’t. I don’t mean that offensively, but the more familiar you are with your firearms the better.

This is my favorite 45. Can anyone identify it?
It appears to be a gun (and not a record).

I did set a personal record with it.
(hint) It is a Smith & Wesson. -
While the CZ-75 is one of my favorite guns, nothing will ever trump the 1911, in any caliber :-D
