I can play ByForum or ByEmail, I need to play some more games…
The problem was I use to play LowLuck but we can play normal dicey, just a bit of editing… if the targem is to tray and learn new strategies… :grinning:

FMG,
Sweet! Sorry I haven’t been able to go through all 128 pages on this thread…lol
do you already have your units picked out for the other countries? I’d like to see all of them different from A&A so to have a wide variety of units. I’m sure this has already been thought about. On the other hand you have to have the Sherman tank and the B-17 for the US. Thanks for all your work in this! -
Just excited about the new sculpts. FMG, if the Italian sets go like hot cakes, will the other sets go into full production as a result? I haven’t been following this topic long, but I’m glad to see this is being done. I’ve been playing A&A since 87 and everytime a new unit comes out it makes the game better! Thank you for taking this idea and running with it!!
We will produce all if ITALY goes well. GERMANY is already under way.
About the new Dice collection?
-
WHEN WILL I GET TO SEE MY RUSSIANS! WHEN WILL THEY PULL THROUGH
You know how it goes, first the Germans come rolling and thundering, then come the Russians and win through in the end.

All will be released at the same time. To save on shipping costs on our end.

I believe that currently the release is scheduled as:
- Italy
- Germany
- USA
Then the order has not been announced yet with the exception of the Gray non nation specific pieces which will be last. FMGs has said they hope to be able to continue to release new sets every 6 weeks or so depending on sales.
P.S. If this is incorrect please correct me FMG.
P.S.S. Thanks for being willing to put up the capital and risk for this project. I hope you make boatloads of profit for your efforts. -
Any specifics on unit types for Germany?

I think FMG should do France next after USA so they can correct WOTC’s error and give France their own specific units instead of just blue copies of Soviet equipment. After all, that’s one reason they decided to start with Italy, because WOTC had them using German and Japanese equipment. I would love to see the French classes of ships, tanks and planes that reloader-1 suggested in the Table Tactics thread.
-
What about doing French, Chinese and Neutrals one set combined? For the french you need mostly fighter, one bomber, navy, one tank, artillery, infantry, truck, and armoured car. For the chinese… infantry, armoured car and artillery, maybe one tank. Almost the same for neutrals… You can join the 3 in one set.
Another thing I would like to see created is a set of commonwealth units ( Australian, Canadian and Indian specific units) with infantry in their specific uniforms and their fighters/tanks/artillery. I remember the canadian ram tank and the australian boomerang fighter but there are lots of other units produced by these countries, mostly tanks, armoured cars and trucks.

Can’t do them all in one mold unless they’re all the same color though. So while they could be sold in a single set they would still require 3 sets of molds (which means waiting 3x as long for that one set).
I’d say keep these for the end. Get the major 6 done first, as that has the most appeal and useability between games.

Yep, I agree.

I say do the “major 7,” with France being a higher priority, certainly, than Commonwealth or neutrals! …I might prioritize them higher than some of the “big 6!” Then again, waiting so long on France might give TT an opening to try his own approach, and if the specific units types between TT and FMG are different enough… so much the better! I’d love to see him try a set with no infantry at all, but more tank and ship types!

We are doing the Major 6 nations before anything else. Then we will do France, ANZAC etc…

Use the red Japanese pieces from the original AA Pacific as Canadians.
-
i never got the red jap from pacfic or the green uk from europe
-
I have some of the red Japanese pieces from the earlier version of A&A Pacific. In fact, I’m trying to sell that game on eBay right now. I also got a few of the burgandy Soviet pieces which I guess are from early versions of A&A Europe. However, I have never seen the green British pieces. I would like to get some of those for my personal collection. I’ve got British in several shades:
the current tan pieces,
some dark tan/beige pieces from early A&A Pacific,
another shade of tan that seems to have a slight pink tint to it,
a sort of cream color,
and some that are nearly white from D-Day. Of course, those don’t include any of the ships. The green British pieces would be a nice addition. So, for anyone else who has seen them, what shade of green were they?
-
i geuse a lime green, ya thats what i thought to

If you pick up a set of TT’s “New Colors” set of A&A Accessories, he’s got a few runners of his stuff in a very close approximation of that green. To my eyes it’s like halfway between the Americans’ olive green and the UK tan. The World’s Forge Japanese are somewhat close, but brighter.
Yeah, I have probably 2-3 sets worth of red Japanese, but I’ve found both the burgundy Russians and green Brits VERY hard to find, even on ebay. I have, maybe, 1 full set’s worth of each. The green Brits were the hardest of all to find, I think.
-
Oh yeah. I’ve got some of those Table Tactics pieces. They are sort of a light, pale green. Close to the current Chinese infantry but without the slight yellow tint.
I wonder why WOTC made these odd colors at first (red Japanese, burgandy Soviets, green Brits) just to turn around and change them to the more “normal” colors. I mean, the Revised edition of A&A came out first, right? Before A&A Pacific and A&A Europe. In the Revised edition, as far as I know, all the forces were in the “normal” colors with the Soviets being maroon, the Japs being burnt orange and the Brits being tan. So, they already knew what color the forces were supposed to be before they came out with Europe and Pacific. Yet they went and made these odd colored versions and then changed to the regular versions. Were they just trying to make a few hard-to-find collectible items before going into more regular production?
-
Europe & Pacific came out before Revised.
