    I might want to edit the US NCM to Normandy, didn’t factor in all the planes that I think can legally move there (the ones in Southern Italy could land on the carriers if you win the battle, which is only likely if you can send the planes). A bit circular but afaik it’d be legal

    For my part, we usually play once you finish the nation, that is it, no changes possible. But it seems in this case I wouldn’t know it if you did not post the temporary save, so I guess it would be fine :)

    @nikola1975 Sorry for the confusion. During my Noncombat Move as the USA I moved my fleet to SZ 108 (the little pocket by Normandy-Bordeaux). Thinking that I could use a destroyer to block, so you’d only be able to attack with air, I wouldn’t need as many units this turn to defend, giving me a chance to merge fleets.

    However while I was thinking more about UK’s turn, I realized that the German fighters in Italy could attack 108. It is 4 movement spaces. The only legal landing spot would be a Carrier as UK was going to capture Normandy. Your carriers in 115 would be able to move to 113 to land on at that point. I worded it less coherently earlier, my apologies.

    My edit would be to change the USA fleet position in 108 to 95, where I made the landing in Southern France.

    Yeah, I agree, I am generally pretty accomodating but try to avoid making any edits that would impact a turn. Since this isn’t a reflective change after rolling battle dice, I don’t think it’s a big ask. Thank you :)

    My US bomber in Olgiy was counting against the +3 NO for no other units in Russian territory, so I edited them in.

    I think this is because the script that triggers the Mongolia rule makes Mongolia originally Russian territories, but they are only considered Russia-controlled.

    Per the Pacific rulebook, Global section

    Also, if Japan attacks >any Soviet-controlled territory that is adjacent to any Mongolian territory, all Mongolian territories that are still strict neutral or pro-Allies, or have joined the Allies as a result of a failed Japanese attack, will be placed under the control of the Soviet Union at the end of Japan’s Conduct Combat phase.


  • @Stucifer Ok, I agree, keep the bonus for this round, but I am not sure there is a difference between Russian and Russian-controlled territories. I believe they become part of Soviet Union, so are considered Russian until taken by someone else?
