Anyone heard about this?
upcoming WW2 RTS, it looks like it has some interesting ideas behind it, awesome graphics
Playable armies include Germany, USSR, France, US, Italy, UK
Looks nice but i have had nothing but problems with Ubisoft. All they do is buy up games that were developed by other companies but were never finished or considered to have some ‘issues’, then they repackage it as their own and something is always wrong with these games. And they refuse to ever allow the game servers to be built into the games interface, because they usually sell off the server thing to an outside company like Game spy that jacks up your computer and runs in the background drawing off CPU resources.

I don’t get this. Steam is awesome. You can lose your hard drive and simply reinstall everything on a new computer. It keeps things updated and playable. You get great games on the cheap. It really has nothing running in the background, and if you find that little icon and menu to be annoying, you can disable them.
You log off and the Steam thing always has some “update” is is nothing but a commercial.
Then when Steam is down, you can’t play the game… this has happened like 10 times in the last 12 months and once it went on for like 2 days.
Also, Steam gets some error where it cannot link your legitimate copy of the game while playing online, and it just dumps the game and disconnects
I never lose any games but it does save the hassle of reloading it on a new computer, but thats just about it.

Yah the windows surface costs like $10,000 right now, but I have heard that windows 7 can do the same multi-touch sort of thing( I dont know what kind of computer you need, i have seen it on laptops though), I am not sure what apple has in terms of competition.
