    I took a gamble by bombing your airbase in Egypt w/ US to set up a kill of all the TTs with the UK planes…and amazingly made it through the 6 plane intercept with only one casualty, only to have the dice turn around and only do 1 damage.

    Obviously this one is about over with the upcoming SL but we can roll it out just in case. Well played sir.

    By my math, Egypt was secure even with the amphib. Maybe I missed something.

    As much as I did hit you with a left upper when you were aiming for a right full punch, I think you are the better player, by a decent margin. I truly think the way you applied your new tactic of hitting Italian fleet with Russian air tipped the balance to me. Opened up the eastern front. Not that the idea doesn’t have merit, but may need refinement.

    It was the 3 US TT placed in sz 104 with nothing to load on turn 8 that caught my attention in a big way. That’s what made me 90% sure you were heading to Egypt the southern route.


  • @mainah Thank you appreciate that. Gotta try new strategies for fun sometimes, even though they don’t always work out.

    Regarding my last post, I was referring to your 8 TTs and 1 DD in SZ 100… if the US successfully damaged the airbase on Egypt then you couldn’t scramble to protect them and I had two UK planes…but only did 1 damage to the AB so it didn’t work out. With London about to die it probably wouldn’t have mattered anyway.

    Let me know if you’re interested in doing a best of out of 3.
