Question about 1942

There’s a map option labelled “Projection of power”.

What does it mean? Thank you!

Once a side captures 12 (or any number set by the map maker) victory cities TripleA shows a message that the respective condition has been fulfilled.

Thank you. Now that I think about it 1942 doesn’t alert you to victory conditions being met without that option turned on unlike 1941 or 1940

It depends on whether this option is set by default or not.

Anyway it is more or less pointless, as players may choose to continue or one side resigns before.
