@koala I know its a bit late but kept meant to mention an edit on the russian naval units so have added it here. If you disallow then just edit them back but it shouldnt have impacted anything

@gamerman01 I thought I didn’t want to lose my German air force or having 3 planes left. Also, even if I’d lost you probably would’ve been left with 2-3 ships -> 1-2 German planes lost and Italian navy had a chance to make a difference while alive.

Great memory, that sounds right. Dice went in my favor when the German air attacked then. But at a glance, it looks like that’s why I lost Egypt. Carrier to 92, Germans don’t destroy carrier, fighters go to Egypt? Just at a glance.

I hated to spend a destroyer on 41, but could comfortably hold India and Burma that way. Might not be able to slip a blocker in, in the future, so probably a good idea to use it now.
I definitely considered just holing up in India, but thought this is better. Hate to use a precious Indian Ocean destroyer when it’s not directly protecting India from an overwhelming attack, but I suppose a great player can usually stop the block or make it insignificant anyway.
Like most, I usually go USA to Queensland, but I might be falling in love with the North route. Until you show it’s weak. -

Btw can’t see the combat hit differentials on UK3, but Axis hit your BB, killed one inf and then I think above average in SZ97 too!

I went with a bit risky BB on DD in 39, and it became interesting so I was just glad to win.
97 was bad.
I had great luck in Yunnan, which could be tricky or even really bad for you, so we’ll see. -
@gamerman01 I think Burma is the right move here. You have to threaten Japan a lot now! Will also see what to make of the US going to Iwo Jima. At first glance and a quick calculation just after US3 the best approach would be to stack and build in SZ6 since no NB on IJ yet. Wasn’t sure about the two US subs going to SZ6, must be some kind of trap ;)

Now it’s a good thing I spent the destroyer and stayed in Burma since I got lucky with all 3 infantry remaining.
But anyway, the Italians are a big problem. I’ve had them blow up on me in a previous game a long time ago, but consolation is they only have a battleship and no transports right now.

@gamerman01 Yes agreed! Heavy downside of course being UK EU not having any navy at the moment and US having to re-consider their priorities + a German navy.
