@squirecam It is a fact. Axis income is depressed. It is also true that Japan is three turns by transport from Calcutta. Two turns from the money islands. Their income cannot rise above 50 unless they capture the West Coast.
My thoughts are that this is a very different game. A fun game.
I want to see if I can use my success to win. That is yet to be determined. But I no longer need to use the strategy, but must now seize opportunities and counter threats. This is a playtest of a KJF scheme. I told you my strategy. I wanted to tell you why I will not be following it this turn. Operation Banana Split has been successful. Operation Phoenix begins. -

My thoughts are that this is a very different game. A fun game.
I want to see if I can use my success to win. That is yet to be determined. But I no longer need to use the strategy, but must now seize opportunities and counter threats. This is a playtest of a KJF scheme. I told you my strategy. I wanted to tell you why I will not be following it this turn. Operation Banana Split has been successful. Operation Phoenix begins.You can change your strategy. But the point of this test was to see if your original strategy would work. By producing infantry and forgoing any fleet, you have shown that your sub stack was not successful. I have a complete Japanese fleet. The allies have few ships. Which was the point of the test.
