never mind, I just readjusted my purchase slightly and added the missing cash. looks like anz is screwed lol, I had forgotten about the carriers being able to scramble, so now it makes everything so much easier for Japan. geez they really buffed Japan tremendously. I’ll have to figure a way to counter pressure elsewhere I guess

@axis-dominion yep, same thing that happened to me against Adam. Thought, I will pull back and counter if he lands, but that doesnt work as well with carrier and land scrambles.
Though if you stack NSW, it does take quite a commitment by Japan to clear it. But clear it they can, but maybe that puts them out of position everywhere else. But its definitely challenging to deal with Japan having 55.

I suppose it’s just fair given how much commitment I made in Europe. but that level commitment in Europe does seem necessary as well, to make any progress on the euro axis.

thanks, well, I think if I had realized how bad the situation could get due to the carrier scrambling in 55, I probably would’ve just blocked and held onto 55. but hey, it’s a learning experience, I won’t change that at this point. it’s basically similar to what happened to you in Europe in any case.
it’ll be interesting to see how this goes… because you’re right, at the end of the day, Japan will have to commit a bunch to knock out anz, so that may open up other opportunities.

I think of all the new rules, I’m finding the carrier scrambling the hardest to get used to and remember… I’m even very comfortable with the scrambling to land, believe it or not I play tested that with Adam in bm a while back. so I’m definitely at home with that one. but the whole carrier scrambling is really tricky and does change a lot of the naval dynamics.

ah yah, thanks for pointing that out! I definitely would’ve killed it… I think the way the sea zones are, it must’ve played a trick on my eyes. still adjusting to them. definitely have one anz sub do that plz
