Yes, it’s ok.
An easy way to do that is to just restart the turn. You can even use the after british combat moves and adjust there.

Oh, I didn’t understand the situation. Didn’t think rolls had begun. It’s a bit suspect to change the battle when it’s started, which you agree upon, but I trust that you simply did an over-sight. Normally I wouldn’t allow it after dice have been rolled, but I’m a nice guy and will allow it here. I trust your intention.

i did not want to alter this because u scored 2 hits in first round,
i needed that mech, even if u scored only hit in 1 st round, u could score another hit in 2nd round and i cant take the territory, or destroy fig which is stupid
my original plan was to send 3 land units to take the territory for certain, and that mech is great since it can return to egypt next round
