    The U.S. has to spend a lot to build an Atlantic fleet that can withstand Germ bombers & subs. And the U.S. can’t move from E. Coast until DOW. But it can move out from W. Coast immediately. So U.S. can get a head start in the Pacific.

    At first I thought that the American sub could leave sz5, but then realized if it submerged, that it couldn’t move in NCM. So I tested to see if it could stay without being hit, but no. So I chose to stay and be attacked by you on your turn.

    I’m often unlucky in AA. Just had a bad strat bombing turn in a G40 game. As U.S., I bombed S. Italy, which had 3 interceptors. As G40, only 1/2 hit expected each side. Defender hit 2/3 and I only hit 1/3. So only one bomber did damage. Also bombed Normandy and AA hit 1/1. So I lost 3 bombers and only did 6 damage and one fighter for -20 TUV. Expect 5/6 bombers get thru, for 27 1/2 damage and lose one bomber: net 15 1/2 TUV, or +3 TUV per bomber.

    I’ve heard of German players going south if Moscow is too heavily defended. But never experienced it. In my forum games, most German opponents go north of Pripet marsh, so they get N.O. for Leningrad and don’t get stalled in Ukr, blocked by Russ in Bry. You’ve done well to get plenty of offense early and will have enough fighters to offset my allied fighters. I’m trying to figure out what to do.
