If the allies go full tilt KGF its not really possible for the Germans to keep up pressure on Russia for ever. However the dont have to as Japan will do that instead.
One thing I find helpfull as Germany is to switch from light to medium trading against Russia. Seems to me that Russia have to sacrifice much more IPC each trade as they have much less air.

RE: Any good Allied Strategies?
I agree, you shouldent invade France untill you are really good and ready. Howver having kmore than 4 transports as UK is not very smart as you can use them all (only 8 untis can be produced in Engalnd each turn).

RE: GAME WRITE UP: CENTRAL POWER NAVY STRATEGY!
From a simple math min/max perspective which some are intersested in, a naval strat is extremly unwise. Simple plus/minus math will tell you you need to add appr. 81 IPC worth of naval as CP in total accross the board (using the starting naval as ref) to even break even which means if you wanna “controll” something you will need to add more than the competition.
As CP you cant ever get into a building race with the allies as your starting income is so much less, but rather you need to as fast as possible close the incomecap.Consider sz17. (I will assume the ottoman and russian navy cancel each out). Allies can after turn1 have 2 BS (France+Italy)+3Cruisers(UK+Italy+France which means AH wont be able to break even, even if the go all out navy. After turn2 the allies will have additional 1BS+Crusie (UK) in the zone and again AH wont be able to break even, even if they spent all during 2 turns. After this france plus Italy can with great ease together spend equal to AH for each turn.
So I have to ask how in hell are AH suppose to get controll over sz17?=)I suppose you can counter and say “the allies dont counter my moves in my games” but then what is the point of argue the value of strats. I can ask what do you think about my “attack-AH-first-as-Italy strat”, assuming AH dont defend their borders?=)

RE: Allies Strategy
SZ37 is good move in terms of making a dent in Japans navy and it is a huge loss for them. However its only really worth anything if Japan needs to replace the units, meaning unless you are going KJF its a completely pointless move. And it is a really, really boring move as it losses the game for the allies if it fails…
You cant really base your opinion based on Hard AI on triple A as its not really any good. The Hard AI Japan for instance tends to buy 10+ transports and do all types of unfocused ADHD moves all around the pacific without any clear objective, they take mexico, they take alaska etc…

RE: Do you bomberman?
I alwyas buy 1 bomber per round as Germany and a few with Japan. As axis you get 2 for 1 with the buy of bombers as you both make the allies buy more protection for their transports and you get to hammer Russia with SBR. As Allies you only get SBR which I dont think is worth it alone.

RE: IC in Manchuria
I usually build one once I reach the cap in Japan. Before that I would def. go with transports instead.

RE: Reasons why you shouldn't kill France first
At what round is Russia knocked out? What are the appr. incomes when they do?
Generelly you wanna knock them out by round 5 and have plus 6 in income each for Germany and AH. Assuming small gains by UK and a some losses by the Ottomans by that time the total income for CPs and allies should look like:
Allies: 80-85 IPC
CPs: 80-85 IPCWhich means its quite open.

RE: Reasons why you shouldn't kill France first
What are you doing after Russia is gone? I am assuming UK are going full tilt towards the Ottomans?
AH has two as I see it. Option A is using the bare minimum to shield itself from Italaly and using most of its army towards India. Option B is the opposite, sending the bare minimum too keep the Ottomans in the game while trying to kill Italy asap.
Germany can either go full tilt against France or it can merly shield against France while sending troops towards Italy (only if AH are doing option B). -
RE: Russian Revolution question
I dont see how RR can be avoided really if CP goes all in… Though CPs and especially AH needs to be ultra aggressive on the eastern front, meaning moving pratically everything that way in the first round and have something like 32inf/8art and 1 plane ready to hit Ukrane round 2.

RE: Getting slow…
Well you can always start with opening moves for each country =)
