I wonder how difficult it would be to convert TripleA into a HTML5 format or for GameMaker Studio. From there is should be fairly easy to generate an async. multiplayer game that is scalable and convertable to different devices. People could also host it on there personal website.

You raise a good question about getting permission from WOTC.  I assumed since there are two other apps that do similar things that adding a third to iTunes would be no problem.  I didn’t ask for WOTC’s permission first, however, I just sent off an email to WOTC’s press handler to see if there is any issue so we’ll see what comes back.  I’d hate to have to pull it with all the work I put into it, but if asked to do so, I will.  If that happens I imagine the other two apps will have to be pulled as well.

Howdy, folks! I discovered my old copy of A&A:IB and was having trouble. My specs are as follows:

Windows 7: Professional Edition (64)
Windows XP Mode: Virtual PC (Might be 64)

1.83 Core Duo processor
230 GB Hard Drive
4 Gb RAM
Nvidia 8400 GS

It installs correctly in Windows 7, but freezes on the Hasbro Interactive animation. In XP Mode, I can’t even install it as the autorun won’t load the disc and clicking on the setup.exe gives the ‘not valid in windows 32’. Any suggestions.

try Flames of Europe or DAAK.de (if you go to DAAK you’ll have to click the British flag in the upper left corner to translate the page to English, unless you know how to read German.)
