I also registered just so I could post on this thread.  Faction specific dice will look so good with the individual faction boxes that come with AA50! :-D

For the AA gun dice on the #2 side, there should be a couple of radar dished, if possible, for the radar tech.  The other four sides I think should look like a standard die, for tradition, and saving money and production time.  you could have tiny explosions and stuff, but I think that’s too ornate for AA dice.

If the #1 side comes down to either a bomber or fighter, I’d say bomber, since it’s the primary target and reason for having an AA gun unit in the first place.

Maybe it could be a combination, like a P-38, which is a fighter, but look like a bomber, or a Stuka (typo?), which is a “fighter-bomber”, or maybe that’s just a stupid idea.  :| Generic AA gun dice ought to have generic fighters and/or bombers-unless…you have 12 faction specific AA gun dice (6 different fighters and 6 different bombers)! :-o  But that’s going to far.  With those ideas, I’ll have FMG bankrupt.  Besides, AA guns are gray and not faction specific in nature.  Just as they can be captured and used by different factions, the dice ought to be generic and usable by all.

ordered my deluxe set today! can’t wait, will use my original FMG set for my Revised addition game.

I PMd you a couple days ago about preordering nation pieces, 7 nation dice, and a dice tower.  Didn’t hear back so I went ahead and ordered the tower, two sets of 7 nation dice, and a set of 5 nation dice :-)

Sheesh…. between AA50 and the FMG stuff, I just spent almost $300 on Axis and Allies! :D

I just noticed the other thread about the nation pieces so I’ll jump in there.  Anyway, thanks for making all this stuff for us die hard fans.

Got my Italian and Chinese dice today! Just like the other dice they are awesome! Makes me wish I had more time to actually play A&A. Thanks for putting out a great product. I looked at the dice tower you guys put out and it looks nice but, $40 dollars is too rich for my blood. Maybe I will make my own.
