TUV counting, making sure the allies start with a clear numbers, tuv, and income advantage to compensate for the drastic positional advantage. Axis quickly catch up in income and the ICs shift to the axis within the first 3 rounds.

More importantly the axis now have to make decisions instead of having one best move to do.

Even more importantly the allies have something to look forward to potentially within the first 3 rounds which typically saw a whole lot of nothing, which is a big reason people do not play this map.

Still favors the axis to win. I like to play the axis so I am a little biased, I just hate to see the game won before it even begun.

Come to think about it, there is already an A&A Expansion named Honor and Infamy Commanders that you can buy. Just google the name, and see attached pic

There are a lot of tank destroyers available now so what I decided to use them for was an anti-tank gun similar to the AAA guns except that offensively they operate just like a tank. A3/ D 3D6@1 -OR- 3/ M2/ C8

Same for the panzerfaust Inf but with modification. A1/ D1D6@1 -OR- 2 (like regular Infantry)/M1/ C4.

The rifled field cap guys looked like perfect conscripts A1/D1/M1/C2

You should also have captured leader rules where the leader is moved to another tt if they have been captured by an opponent and then they should have to be rescued

If you do that you may want a requirement for the captured leader to have to stay in their own country (under foreign occupation) or the USA could ship Mussolini off to the US and make it difficult to free him.

First time I did a custom map that’s exactly what I did, buy a world map and territory borders.  You could try to find an loder copy of photoshop like ps 6 or 7 for much less than the current gen.

What would you think if I merged Belgium/Holland, Albania/Yugoslavia, and make Switzerland an impassible territory?
