The situation in the Middle East is hopeless for the Germans. No reinforcements have been able to get through.

In Western Europe, the German Armed Forces are re-organized and are backed up by a massive German Luftwaffe.

Japanese troops eliminate the last remaining Soviet Infantry units in the Far East - the Road to Moscow is now open, with no Soviet forces to halt the Imperial Japanese Army.

Japanese Tank units push forward towards India - no matter the cost.

US Forces are landing in Italy - capturing both Rome and Northern Italy.

The US Mediterranian Transport Fleet is most likely going to be eliminated by the German Luftwaffe during the anticipated German counter attack.

US Invasion Forces in Norway push forward into the Northern Part of the Soviet Union in a relief effort to help the Russians.

In Asia, US Assault Troops liberate Kiangsu - with the Japanese Minor Industrial Complex being lost as a consequence.

The Middle East is cleared of enemy controlled territories.

Offensive operations are launched against Japanese held territories & islands in Asia and the Pacific.

The end of Late 1945 has come.

The outcome of the War is unpredictable at this point.

• The Soviet Union’s economy is suffering from the loss of multiple territories. Both the Japanese and German Armed Forces are pushing forward towards Moscow.
  The Soviets must hold out - and maybe even launch small scale attacks against the weakest points in the Axis frontlines.
• Germany is an enormous War Machine.
  The build up of Germany’s Waffen-SS Armies is once again completed - and these Waffen-SS Armies are the backbone of the German Army.
  On the Eastern Front, German units are still fighting the Soviets - and no decisive blow has yet been accomplished. But slowly, the Soviets are being pushed back towards their Capital, Moscow.
  In the South and the West, German troops are exposed to continous attacks from strong Allied Forces.
• Japanese troops have captured China and invaded USSR. And the fight against the British troops from India is still ongoing.
  In the Pacific, the Allies are jumping from one island to another - and there is no way to stop them at this point.
  Japan must consider it’s Naval Strategy and try to outmaneuver & destroy parts of the Allied Fleets.
• United States units are on the offensive on all fronts. The Mass Production of ships, planes and tanks is beginning to influence the balance of the War.
• United Kingdom is attacking the Japanese units in Asia & the Pacific - securing the Middle East - and building up for a renewed offensive in Western Europe.

Since Early 1943, both the Axis and the Allies have launched Massive Offensive Operations with loss in men and materiel on an immense scale.

Now, at the doorstep to Early 1946, the War is entering its final stage.
The outcome hangs in the balance - and it all depends on the Overall Strategy on both sides.

Truely, this is a Highly Balanced War - a War of Attrition.

Early 1946 has ended.

German Waffen-SS Armies are within range of the Soviet Capital, Moscow.

Soviet troops have halted the Japanese advance from the East. But strong German Panzer and Waffen-SS formations are closing in on Moscow.

Japan has lost a Minor Industrial Complex in China - and had to build a new one in Kwangtung. Japanese troops are holding a thin line at all fronts - and the enemy seems to have unlimited man power.

United States has attacked Southern Europe as well as Norway & Finland.
In the Pacific, US forces are also on the offensive.

United Kingdom have launched an offensive from India.
The Royal Air Force are now present in the Soviet Union together with Tank forces - waiting for the Germans next step.
A build up for an invasion of Western Europe is continued in London.

Germany launches a massive offensive with Army Group Center against Smolensk.

1st Panzer Army and 1st Waffen-SS Army in Army Group Center are supported by 3rd and 4th Waffen-SS Armies - and two Waffen-SS Battle Groups with Waffen-SS Infantry & Artillery units.
Additional Infantry & Panzer units are supporting Army Group Center as well.

The entire German Luftwaffe is moved to the Eastern Front.

The German High Command has planned an All Out Offensive against the Soviet Capital, Moscow - in the beginning of Late 1946.

The best & most hard hitting German fighting units of the entire War are all within striking distance of the Soviet Capital.

In the West and South, the core of the German Army including 2nd and 3rd Panzer Armies, has been withdrawn into the German Hinterland - to lure the Allied Forces into a deadly trap.

Once the Allied Forces have advanced deeper into German occupied territories, a massive German counter offensive will be launched - and will eliminate all Allied Forces in Europe.

Late 1946 has ended.

Allied Forces have pushed both German & Japanese troops back on most fronts.

But Russia is threatened by a Massive German Army Group - Army Group Center - on the Eastern Front.

British Royal Air Force and UK Tank units are present in Moscow to strengthen the defense of the Soviet Capital.

In the West, United States has landed in Normandy - again - and has a foothold in Southern Europe.

Massive German Army Formations are assembled in the Western Europe sphere.

Those German formations will be supported by 1st and 2nd Panzer Armies - in the German counter attack that is to be launched in Early 1947.

The German Strategic Plan is to attack and destroy most Allied Forces in Europe - and at the same time launch Operation Typhoon - the attack on Moscow.

If succesfull, those Massive Offensive Operations will break the Allied capability to fight in Europe.

If Moscow is captured by German Army Group Center, the War will be over - and the Axis will be Victorious.
